Food is just where the conversation begins.

BLK65 is the cultural platform behind The Hood Paris (where it all started 10 years ago), bridging Europe and Southeast Asia through food, art, travel, design and the people shaping its creative future.

Since opening The Hood Paris in 2016, we've helped introduce a new generation of Southeast Asian flavours to Paris - championing ingredients like pandan, kaya, gula melaka and durian long before they became familiar to the French.

But BLK65 has never been just about the food. We believe the things that connect us are universal: gathering around a table, sharing a story, discovering somewhere new, listening to music, making art, or finding a taste that reminds us of home.

What started around a few café tables has grown into dinners, exhibitions, performances, and collaborations that bring together chefs, artists, designers, makers, entrepreneurs and curious minds from around the world.

Over the past year, we've celebrated Southeast Asia food and culture through Chope Chope Paris, welcomed Hossan Leong for Singapore Boy in Paris ; opened Galerie 65 - a gallery by artists, for artists, hosted Aupen over pandan, introduced Tuak (rice wine from Sarawak) to our guests, and collaborated with partners including the Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Global Network, lyf by Ascott and Yeo's, developing cultural programmes and storytelling projects across food, travel, art, design, and craft.

BLK65 works with a growing network of chefs, artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and cultural voices connecting Paris, Singapore and beyond. Together, we're building a platform that celebrates contemporary Southeast Asia - as a living, evolving culture with stories worth sharing.

We're officially launching BLK65 in 2026, and this page is just the beginning. Soon you'll find our past events, upcoming programmes, collaborations, city guides, podcasts and stories from our growing community.
